Milwaukee man faces long sentence if convicted of drug charges, robbery

Sometimes, people face arrests for multiple charges, and the penalties they face are high if they are convicted. These cases can be especially complicated, with many different variables. When someone is charged with multiple crimes, they may feel overwhelmed and helpless. Speaking with an experienced criminal defense attorney might be one way to help understand the charges against you and how to proceed through the legal process.

One man in Milwaukee is now facing multiple charges including drug charges and seven felonies for alleged robberies. Given the number of charges against the man, it is likely that police and authorities will conduct a thorough investigation. This investigation may provide them with evidence, so it is important to make sure all evidence is gathered within the police's boundaries set in the Constitution.

If police gather evidence through illegal means, the person accused of the crime might be unfairly prosecuted and may face penalties that aren't warranted. An attorney can help a person accused of drug charges look at the evidence and make sure it was legally obtained. If it wasn't legally obtained, the charges against the person might be dropped or reduced.

The legal process can seem overwhelming, and making sure you understand your rights is an important step in proving your innocence. Speaking with an attorney can help a person handle the complexities that are often involved in cases with multiple criminal charges. They can help make sure your rights are protected throughout the legal process and you receive a fair trial.
